Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Amberish (Amber) Kehal is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her M.A. in Theology, Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2026 and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University, completed in 2024.

Amber brings experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in private practice, including clients from refugee and newcomer communities. Her approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and strengths-based practices, while remaining grounded in anti-racist, intersectional, and anti-oppressive frameworks.

At the heart of Amber’s work is an appreciation for the ways identity, culture, relationships, and lived experience shape a person’s inner world. She approaches therapy with curiosity and care, meeting clients where they are while helping them make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward lives that feel more aligned with their individual goals.
